Artist Bio:
Nacida en Santiago de Chile y actualmente radicada en California, Ángeles Guzmán es una escultora cuya obra explora el diálogo entre el silencio interno y la fuerza táctil del bronce. Con una licenciatura en Escultura y una trayectoria en el diseño de calzado, transforma materias nobles en narrativas tangibles que celebran el oficio y la necesidad vital del acto creativo, generando un diálogo eterno entre el proceso y la creación.
Born in Santiago, Chile, and now based in California, Angeles Guzman is a sculptor whose work explores the dialogue between internal silence and the tactile strength of bronze. With a B.A. in Sculpture and a background in footwear design, she transforms noble materials into tangible narratives that celebrate craftsmanship and the vital necessity of the creative act, creating an eternal dialogue between process and creation.
