Santa Barbara High School Unveils New State of the Art VADA Creative Arts Building
Santa Barbara High School’s Visual Arts & Design Academy (VADA) proudly announces the official completion and opening of its new creative arts facility. Opening its doors in the fall of 2024, the 3,350‑square‑foot building now serves as a dynamic, flexible, and inspiring home for visual arts, design, and creative education.
SUPPORT VADA
VADA is a California Partnership Academy funded in equal parts by the California Department of Education, the Santa Barbara Unified School District, and the Friends of VADA, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization.
As part of its matching grant agreement with the California Department of Education and the Santa Barbara Unified School District, VADA must raise one-third of its funding from the community every year. The 2025-2026 Annual Campaign goal is to raise at least $100,000. Any contribution you can make is greatly appreciated and will allow our students to participate in a more enriched learning experience.
