Incoming 9th graders
Effective November 2020, incoming 9th graders will not formally apply to VADA. To participate in VADA’s 9th grade program, interested students need only enroll in VADA’s introductory class “VADA Freehand Drawing” when selecting classes. This course will be automatically paired with a connected VADA 9th grade English class. The VADA 9th grade experience will emphasize developing creative skills in art and design and building the community we call “the VADA Family”.
Students who wish to continue in VADA will be supported to apply mid-way through 9th grade for 10th grade admission.
Incoming 10th and 11th graders

Generally speaking VADA does not accept new 12th graders into the program. Reach out to us if you have any questions about this policy.
